Blog 43
Today is taking forever. I hate Thursday so much. I hate 4 classes on Thursday and it seems like it is never going to end. The good thing is that all was a couple Thursday s off this quarter. We have next Thursday off and I am so looking forward to it. I will get to sleep in and just relax the whole day. Then we have the Thursday of Thanksgiving off. I love Thanksgiving because of all the food. All of the food is so good and it is fun getting together with my family. My dad’s side of the family is pretty crazy and it is always a good time. We always play Euchre and it always get pretty intense. Some of us, including me know how to stack the deck so we always cut the deck before we deal. I think Euchre is a really fun card game to play. A lot of people don’t know how to play and they should all learn how. I also liked to play Monopoly but no one really ever wants to play with me. They all say it takes too long but we will normally play on Thanksgiving. My family eats and then we just play games the rest of the day. It is a lot of fun and I am looking forward to it. Plus we will have a much needed break from school, so I am really looking forward to it. Well that’s my 250 words for the day.

4 classes in a day does sound like it sucks. Do you have a day where it is extremely easy for you? I am also excited that we have next thursday off. a break is always nice.
ReplyDeleteYeah it is pretty awful but I only have 2 classes everyday but my Friday is so easy so I guess it evens out. And yes it will be nice to have a little break next week.
ReplyDeleteMy Dad's side is crazy too, makes for major entertainment! We always pick names for Christmas at Thanksgiving, and since there are about 60 of us that can get pretty competitive! Everyone always wants the little kids because they can just buy toys for them. I have 20 cousins, and I am second to youngest, so you can imagine the wives, kids, etc. that are there now. I am all about gift cards! We had to stop playing games because we have all apparently inherited a competitive streak that is very ugly!!
ReplyDeleteWow you have a huge family. There are only like 25 of us. I have tons of 2nd cousins but we don't get to see them too often. We also pick names for Christmas on Thanksgiving. We just draw names and we have to get something for that person. Its the same thing with my family. No one ever wants my uncles or my Grandparents haha. They always wait for ever to make a list and they are hard to buy for. We established a new rule last year that we also have to have a list up by Thanksgiving. I am all for gift cards too because you can get whatever you want then. My family gets competitive with the games but thats all part of the fun.
